Information

The High Sense Tuberculosis LAM Antigen Test (HS-TB LAM) Diagnostic Accuracy and Usability Study (HS-LAM DACUS) is a multi-center, prospective diagnostic accuracy study aimed at evaluating the HS-TB LAM test for active TB detection. Conducted in South Africa, Kenya, Brazil, the Philippines, and Indonesia, it involves symptomatic adults suspected of TB. The study compares HS-TB LAM against microbiological and clinical reference standards, with secondary objectives assessing usability and cost-effectiveness. The study includes a target sample size designed to meet WHO expectations and will last approximately 10 months, including a baseline visit and potential follow-up. The study will be conducted in Indonesia and is planned to take place at RSUP Persahabatan Jakarta, the national respiratory center.
